One of the elements that Sumera treasures most about her specialisation in employment law is the ability to work with a kaleidoscope of clients. Whether you’re an individual navigating the labyrinth of unfair dismissal or a corporation juggling the intricacies of redundancy procedures and TUPE process, Sumera is your go-to expert. And it’s not just about solving problems; it’s about making a lasting impact on issues that matter, issues that often touch on the realm of social justice.

Sumera boasts an enviable skill set in drafting settlement agreements, bespoke employment contracts, and staff handbooks. With over 4 years of focused experience, she has a keen eye for detail and an unerring instinct for identifying the best legal pathways for her clients.

What sets Sumera apart in a sea of legal talent? Aside from her specialisation in employment law, she brings a host of valuable skills that enable her to deal with corporate transactions as well. This multidimensional approach ensures you’re not just getting an employment law specialist, but a legal professional who understands the broader business landscape.

Not one to keep her wisdom to herself, Sumera has penned numerous articles on trending legal matters and employment-related topics. While she doesn’t frequently speak at conferences, her written contributions to the field extend her influence far beyond the walls of Askews Legal LLP.

Her illustrious career includes some significant highlights, too. Sumera completed her legal training with an international law firm and has advised corporate giants. Her involvement in advising the PharmaLex Group on its merger with Regulis Consulting Limited stands out as a hallmark moment in her journey.

Outside the office, Sumera is anything but one-dimensional. Yoga aficionado, countryside explorer, and late-night gym enthusiast—her pursuits are as diverse as her legal portfolio. She also harbours a deep love for traveling and soaking up new cultures, broadening her worldview in ways that enrich her personally and professionally.

What seemed to be nightmare of a sale turned into a beautiful dream when Mr. Pardeep Kandola got involved in the sale of my property. What was estimated at being between 16-20 weeks (with no chain) seemed like it was taking forever when we were 6, 7 months and still no talks of exchange due to issues on the other side.Frustration was high and when it was coming towards 9 months I had spoke to Mr. Pardeep Kandola who then I’d like to say diligently and single handed got in contact with the relevant people and copied me into everything. He was extremely thorough in pushing the final stages over the line and I’d like to thank him for his efforts and patience.Would recommend these guys and thanks again Pardeep will definitely be in touch again.

Ruth was my solicitor throughout my divorce journey which lasted nigh on 10 years. She was always supportive during this time and regularly gave me great advice which I am truly grateful for. I would highly recommend her for anyone going through a similar process.

We felt Askews ( Pavinder) had poor communication with us. If it wasn't for us communicating with our buyers and sellers we wouldn't have known what stage we were all at regarding our move. Constant asking what stage we were at and waiting for responses from them. It would have been less stressful if they updated us more.Their Portual was useless, especially when they hadn't checked to see if the right forms had gone on. Very frustrating sending the same form again and again. Took a few weeks for them to realiseWe thank Simran for her hard work near the completion of our sale and purchase and Shortland Horne ( Shelley) who took on the role off chasing things up between solicitors.Stressful experience
