Harvin Dhillon
Harvin joined the Employment Law department at Askews Legal in September 2020 with a keen interest in this topical and people-centric area of law. Harvin values the importance of building professional relationships with businesses and individuals in order to provide tailored advice underpinned by emotional and technical intelligence.
Prior to joining Askews, Harvin completed his legal training having secured four successive promotions whilst working in a niche area of defendant insurance claims litigation. During his training, Harvin gained experience in carrying out advocacy whilst successfully representing a global insurer client for a number of years.
Following his training, Harvin worked in London which involved representing clients at inquests and attending the same at Coroner’s Courts. Having been exposed to the sensitive nature of this work and the scope for public and media interest, Harvin developed an awareness of the delicate nature of legal matters and he approaches all issues with due care and attention.
Outside of law and where possible, Harvin has volunteered to work alongside teachers in local primary schools in order to aid children’s learning and, with an awareness of safeguarding, contributing to the creation of safe learning environments. In addition, Harvin previously trained in Taekwondo and played in a Sunday League football team
