After studying Art for most of my life and actually hating maths it seems bizarre that I took the drastic career change and chose to study AAT two evenings a week for 3 years to start focusing on a career in accounts. I am now fully AAT qualified and plan to move onto the next level to develop my skills and understanding further studying CIMA. I have 5 year’s experience working within the legal industry focusing on solicitor’s accounts. Over the last few years I have gradually worked my way up and managed to secure the role of Accounts Manager at Askews Legal. In this role it has allowed me to take on a lot more responsibility and push myself further.
Over the last couple of year’s I have been involved in many fundraising events for various charities, including the Memory Walk for Alzheimer’s Society to the slightly more extreme challenges of a Skydive for Zoe’s Place Children Hospice and more recently I have managed to tackle the Three Peaks Challenge for Air Ambulance.
Along with the above in my spare time I also like to play Netball at both friendly and competitive levels and enjoy socialising with friends.

My girlfriend and I are first time buyers so we’ve never had to deal with solicitors before, so when people tell us that buying a house is stressful and dealing with solicitors can be a pain, this obviously worried me about the process. However, Askews Legal LLP or more importantly Lauren D’Arcy have proved everyone wrong. Lauren was a pleasure to work with and she made the process so incredibly smooth. My husband and I have recently made our Trust Wills with the guidance of a lovely lady, Stephanie Napier. Stephanie is an Associate Solicitor and Head of Private Client. This is the second time we used Askews and I must say, they are the most responsive and reliable solicitors I have ever used (and we have tried a few).Lauren D'Arcy looked after our account and she was absolutely incredible!
