Harvin Dhillon

Dispute Resolution and Employment Solicitor

Harvin joined the Employment Law department at Askews Legal in September 2020 with a keen interest in this topical and people-centric area of law. Harvin values the importance of building professional relationships with businesses and individuals in order to provide tailored advice underpinned by emotional and technical intelligence.

Prior to joining Askews, Harvin completed his legal training having secured four successive promotions whilst working in a niche area of defendant insurance claims litigation. During his training, Harvin gained experience in carrying out advocacy whilst successfully representing a global insurer client for a number of years.

Following his training, Harvin worked in London which involved representing clients at inquests and attending the same at Coroner’s Courts. Having been exposed to the sensitive nature of this work and the scope for public and media interest, Harvin developed an awareness of the delicate nature of legal matters and he approaches all issues with due care and attention.

Outside of law and where possible, Harvin has volunteered to work alongside teachers in local primary schools in order to aid children’s learning and, with an awareness of safeguarding, contributing to the creation of safe learning environments. In addition, Harvin previously trained in Taekwondo and played in a Sunday League football team

My husband and I have recently made our Trust Wills with the guidance of a lovely lady, Stephanie Napier. Stephanie is an Associate Solicitor and Head of Private Client. We cannot recommend her highly enough,. Stephanie was very easy going and pleasant to talk to, everything was explained thoroughly and any queries we had she answered. We felt totally at ease with her, something that i can imagine can be quite daunting for some people. Thanks again Stephanie for all you helpDella and Steve

This is the second time we used Askews and I must say, they are the most responsive and reliable solicitors I have ever used (and we have tried a few).Lauren D'Arcy looked after our account and she was absolutely incredible! Completely on it, nothing was too much trouble, very fast at responding to our questions and overall a lovely, lovely person. She is an absolute asset to the company and we are so grateful for all her work that led to swift completion of our sale. We will be using Askews again in the future. Thank you once again Lauren, you are brilliant!

Just used Askews for a recent house sale. All went smoothly, got back quickly if I had any questions. Personally I found it difficult filling the forms in online as I had to use my phone as I haven’t got a lap top. Apart from that all good

In 5 years of business I have been fortunate enough not to have had reason to use any form of debt collection, I guess it was my turn when a clients decided to dispute an invoice, even though a very clear and accurate chain of emails and signed terms of business and placed applicant were in place. Askews online Legal debt collection process was so simple and cost effective; it clearly laid out those costs at each stage, showed the trail of correspondence, and allowed me to feel in control of the outcome. The result was a 7 day letter sent to the 2 direcrors and a postal version too, for £7.50. The result was the invoice paid within 24 hours. Couldn't be happier, so much so I shared the process with two other business I know well.
