Job Purpose:

Would you like to work with a forward thinking, ambitious, technologically advanced, full-service law firm?We are looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor or equivalent. This is a full-time position.The Commercial Property Team practice in a multitude of areas – development, finance and investment work – and covers commercial and residential development, infrastructure, investment and property finance, across a broad commercial sector.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out a broad range of good quality work and will have experience in investment and development work. They will also be expected to work as part of a partner-led team, as well as independently (dependent on level of experience and project requirements).The firm seeks an ambitious candidate with strong technical skills, exceptional client care skills and who is looking to help grow the practice. The candidate needs to be a team player, with an enthusiastic and engaged attitude.
The candidate will be covering a broad spectrum of work assisting with landlord & tenant, acquisitions and disposals, development, sale and purchase contracts etc for a mix of mainly private commercial sector clients.In order to be considered for this sought-after role in this experienced team, you will have: 
  • 2-5+ years post-qualification experience in a Commercial Property Team within private practice
  • A common sense, down-to-earth approach and be a resilient problem solver.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to work in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment.
  • A proven, stable career record.
  • Experience dealing with:
    1. Title issues.
    2. Freehold/Leasehold commercial sales and purchases.
    3. Development work.
    4. Supporting business transaction team.
    5. Drafting Leases and dealing with associated transactions.
    6. Drafting transaction related documents (licences/rent deposit deeds).
    7. Landlord and Tenant matters (commercial context).
