Rebecca Howard
Residential Conveyancing
Rebecca Howard is a technical conveyancing solicitor within the residential conveyancing department. Rebecca draws on her broad range of experience in property matters to provide technical support to the conveyancing teams.
Rebecca trained in Manchester at a legal aid firm in Moss Side, where her areas of practice were criminal defence, prison law, family, housing, immigration and actions against the police.
While she worked full-time as a trainee, Rebecca obtained her PGDL at the College of Law in Birmingham, before going on to do her LPC at the College of Law in Chester.
After qualifying in 2004, Rebecca relocated back to the Midlands and moved into conveyancing, which she has practiced ever since – with some forays into commercial property and agricultural law.
Rebecca was a partner at her last firm where, as well as fee earning, she managed the residential property department. Rebecca also implemented and maintained the anti-money laundering and legal practice compliance at her previous firm.
What Rebecca loves about the job: The ever-changing landscape of conveyancing, and the daily challenges this brings to the role in providing assistance to the fee earners and their teams.
