Christos Yianni
Christos joined Askews Legal in August 2019 as a newly qualified solicitor and is working within the Firm’s Commercial Law Department.
Chris’ experience mainly lies within property transactions, where he spent many years dealing with sales, purchases, equity releases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity, and secured lending for all the mainstream banks. He undertakes specialist commercial property transactions, including, Landlord Tenant work, including lease agreement, licenses to assign, option agreements and property SPV acquisitions and disposals together with a general commercial practice comprising of company sales and purchases, and SME business transactions.
Chris graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2014 with a 2:1 (Hons) Law degree, and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law at Moorgate, London in 2015. He spent time working in North London initially, before moving up to the Midlands. He then trained and qualified as a Solicitor in December 2018 with Sarginsons Law in Coventry.
Outside of work, Christos is an avid Liverpool supporter and watches games when he can. He also plays the Greek instrument called the bouzouki to a semi-professional level, and enjoys getting involved in charity fundraising whenever the opportunity arises.
